Remote and Spectacular Diving Holiday!

Join Pro Dive to Sipadan, on the east coast of Malaysia for some world class diving.  This area is well known for its variety and abundance of marine life and schools of game fish, barracudas, jacks, fusiliers and batfish. Shark species like hammerhead and whitetip reefsharks are often seen as well as hundreds of turtles that use Sipadan as their breeding ground. This area is famous for its spectacular wall diving and sightings of special rare animals such as frog and leaf fish, which makes this destination an underwater photographer’s dream!   The Sipadan Water Village is built on ironwood stilts over shallow pristine reefs, the ultimate in luxury, comfort and relaxation.

General Information

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Thursday, 17th June

Check in at Johannesburg International airport for flight to Kuala Lumpur. Flight departs Johannesburg at 14h10, arriving Kuala Lumpur 06h20. Flying time approximately 10 hours. Dinner and breakfast is served on board the plane.

Day 2: Friday, 18th June

Arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 06h20 and transfer to domestic terminal for flight to Tawau departing 08h25 and arriving in Tawau at 11h15. You will be met on arrival and transferred by coach to Semporna (1½ hours drive) where you will transfer via boat to your final destination, Sipadan Water Village. The Sipadan Water Village is built on ironwood stilts over shallow pristine reefs, the ultimate in luxury, comfort and relaxation.

Day 2 - 7: Friday - Wednesday, 18th – 23rd June

6 Nights diving safari, 3 boat dives a day and unlimited shore diving is undertaken at a variety of the dive sites.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily and tea and coffee are freely available from Sipadan Water Village.

Day 8: Thursday, 24th June

Transfer to Semporna by boat after Lunch. Once in Semporna you will be transferred to the airport by coach. Check in at Tawau Airport for flight to Kuala Lumpur departing at 11h55 arriving Kuala Lumpur at 14h35. Transfer to the Melia hotel in Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights including breakfast.

Day 9: Friday, 25^th June

Day spent at leisure in Kuala Lumpur. Lunch and dinner are at own costs.

Day 10: Saturday, 26^th June

Day spent at leisure. Transfer in the evening to the airport for the return flight to Johannesburg flight .

Day 11: Sunday, 27^th June

Depart Kuala Lumpur at 01h20 and arrive in Johannesburg at 05h40.
